Madhya Pradesh (MP) is continuously attracting investment in apparel manufacturing industry and in near future, more companies can invest in the state as the State Government and officials are aggressively approaching the factory owners from other states.
Just a few days back,Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of the state was in Bengaluru where he had a discussion with the AEPC chairman and few other top-level apparel manufacturers.
Not only this, prior to this, an advance delegation of MP visited Tirupur and interacted with few leading companies’ top management and Tirupur Exporters’ Association (TEA).
Textile giant Vardhman, leading home furnishing company Trident already have huge facilities in the state and as far as apparel manufacturers are concerned, Pratibha Syntex and Maral Overseas also have their state-of-the-art units in the state.

Last year Gokaldas Exports from Bengaluru and Tamil Nadu’s Best Corporation announced to start factories in the state and now another textile conglomerate SCM Garments has agreed to put up a factory.

As far as incentives and subsidies are concerned, the factory owners are not disclosing much about it but it is being said that the State Government is giving customised offers to interesting investors.Best Corporation has been offered land on 75 per cent subsidy compared to the market price.
