UK-based clothing, accessory and footwear brand Seasalt Cornwall has launched a new store in Norwich with sustainable concept.
The store has been designed using materials that can be moved, reused and repurposed.
The new store aims to reduce the carbon footprint by more than a third compared to the existing shop.
The décor of the store has been done using sustainable materials like the fabric is made in Yorkshire from wool that is biodegradable, natural and renewable, while the flooring has been made using birch-faced plywood – a FSC-certified wood.
“We are always keen to become an integral part of the community where our shops are located and we’re enjoying welcoming the Norwich community through our doors. We’re delighted to have unveiled our first sustainable Seasalt concept store here and we’ve received a very positive reaction from customers,” said Paul Hayes, CEO, Seasalt.
The brand is also the first clothing retailer in the UK to receive the Soil Association GOTS certification for the use of organic cotton.
