SHEIN, an online fast fashion retailer, has introduced Aralina, a new brand that draws inspiration from Australian culture.
According to the brand, Aralina, which sets itself apart with its minimalist and eco-friendly objectives, puts a twist on loungewear, swimwear, casual clothing, and athleisure that is created with comfort, self-assurance, and genuineness in mind.
Established by an Australian team led by Tara Skene-Haygarth, Director of Product & Brand at SHEIN, Aralina intends to include preferred materials into 20 per cent of its collection by the end of this year. At the moment, the firm offers 30 per cent recycled polyester mixes and viscose that is safe for forests in 9 per cent of its lines.
Skene-Haygarth claims that production begins with small test batches of 100–200 pieces per design, with restocks based on actual demand, in order to reduce waste and inventory overproduction.
