
With so many outstanding American designers participating in New York Fashion Week, which began this Friday, anticipate lots of fashionable bustle and activity throughout the six-day season, in addition to one that reflects the expanding range of the American fashion market.
With its Fantastic Fruits collection, which was focused on sweet produce as suggested by the collection’s name, the highly awaited Area scored another runway triumph. The in-depth analysis of the significance of fruits including grapes, watermelon and bananasβwhich were envisioned as fanciful garments to wearβwas explored by Creative Director Panszczyk.

Omar Salam specialised in fitted outerwear with substantial gold zip fasteners that added intrigue without making it appear too harsh. A coat that doubled as a dress inverted cocoon form was the notable outerwear.
The designers heavily capitalised on the two-piece evening dress trend with choices rather than solely from a bar top to a trimmed turtleneck, all with a hint of β90s reminiscence.
There were sporadic splashes of colour, including red in a gorgeous bustier-style garment, yellow on another sleeveless dress and purple as a trench-like topping.
