The Government of Bangladesh has decided to give the National Export Trophy to as many as 72 companies for the financial year 2019-20 for their performance in the country’s export earnings.
This is as per reports, which maintained a gazette notification in this regard has been announced by the Commerce Ministry recently publishing the names of the award-winning companies even if of the 71 exporters selected for the National Export Trophy, 29 would get gold trophy, 25 for silver and 17 for bronze trophy in 28 categories, which are namely knitwear, yarns, fabrics, home textiles, wovenwear, terry towel, frozen foods, raw jute, jute goods, leather products, footwear, readymade garments in EPZ, other products and services in EPZ, packaging and accessories, primary goods, agricultural products, agro processing, flower and foliage, handicrafts, plastic goods, ceramics, light engineering, electrical and electronics goods, other manufacturing goods, pharmaceuticals, software, other services and women entrepreneurs.
Amongst all, Universal Jeans Ltd., has reportedly been selected for the ‘Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy’.
