ABOUT ULTIMAX™ 81
Coats® Ultimax™ 81 is a multi-ply, air-core polyester thread with a completely hair-free surface. The air-core filament locking mechanism uses turbulent air rather than twist, resulting in a thread that eliminates the fiber protrusions found in conventional threads.
This hair-free surface means reduced abrasion, cleaner seams, fewer defects, and stable performance under high-speed sewing. The result is consistent stitch quality, minimal puckering even in lightweight and technical fabrics, and improved throughput.

BHARAT TEX 2026 RESPONSE AND TRIALS
