
A Bangladeshi entity has recently inked a deal with BEPZA or the Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority to invest US $ 4.8 million with the aim to set up garment accessories plant in the Mongla Export Processing Zone.
This is as per reports, which named the entity concerned as ASM Packall Export Industry, while adding the company will produce annually one lac metric tonnes of different types of bags, zipper, paper band, photo card, bar code, collar stand elastic, tape, tag, label, board and butterfly.
As per a press communique issued, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Ali Reza Mazid and managing director of ASM Packall Export Industry Md Ashraful Alam signed a deal to this end at the at Dhaka’s BEPZA Complex recently.
