The international trade show focusing on garment accessories and packaging, addressing the technological sourcing requirements for the readymade garments (RMG) sector, commenced on Thursday at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
This four-day event, taking place from 11th-14th January, spans eight halls and boasts the participation of 250 exhibitors representing over 20 countries.
Positioned as one of the largest trade shows in Southeast Asia of its kind, it provides an outstanding opportunity to witness cutting-edge technology in action and stay updated with the latest advancements.
Moshiur Rahman, the administrator of BGAPMEA, expressed, “It is an excellent opportunity to witness the latest technology in action, update, and upgrade,” while Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, the Managing Director of ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd., emphasised the significance of the event, stating, “Bangladesh has earned its reputation as a leading supplier of RMG to the world. In its pursuit of consolidating its position and modernizing to meet the needs of the global market, GTB 2024 serves as a vital technology platform for our RMG sector.”
