Popees Baby Care, a well-known retailer of baby care items, including apparel, intends to open 42 new locations in India to increase its retail presence by FY ’26. Additionally, the brand will launch internationally in the Middle East by opening showrooms at the Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi and the Sahara Centre in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Popees opened a new store in Ranni, Kerala, to begin its domestic retail expansion. In the future, it intends to open in important markets such as Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and significant cities throughout the nation.
Shaju Thomas, chairman of Popees Group, commented on the expansion, expressing excitement about increasing their presence in Kerala, which reflects the rising demand for baby and childcare products in the region. He noted that consumers have become more discerning and now expect high-quality products.
Popees offers a variety of products catered to infants including apparel and maternity wear. The company’s apparel offerings include clothing up to 6 years of age which contain shirts, sweaters, tops, T-shirts, leggings, pants and more. The company currently has 84 stores nationwide.
