Every consumer craves for luxury products – whichever part of the globe the consumer resides. However, it is also equally true that shoppers still love to bargain while buying designer brands.
So, keen to get secure deals, money.control has input luxury brands alongside bargaining search terms such as ‘discount’ into Google Adwords to uncover the brands that shoppers want a discount from the most.
The data reveals that discounts for British fashion brand Burberry are the most desired, with the average global monthly search volumes touching 248,870. Ralph Lauren and Gucci occupy second and third spot, respectively, with average of 238,850 and 237,580 global searches per month.
Here it is important to state that Gucci has issued a warning to discourage consumers from shopping for its items elsewhere due to the prolificacy of counterfeits.
The others in the top ten (in the order) include Lacoste (127,230), Calvin Klein (121,050), Rolex (111,150), Moncler (87,000), Hugo Boss (79,630), Prada (73,220) and Balenciaga (54,980).
More on this, Salman Haqqi, Personal Finance Expert, money.co.uk, said “Designer brands are at the forefront of global high-end fashion. The reputation for these high-quality products entices those willing to spend hundreds, if not thousands, to get their hands on luxury goods.”
