
To help Bangladesh, which is all set to join the league of developing nations soon, retain its growth pace, the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) has expressed willingness to help.
According to media reports, CWEIC CEO Samantha Cohen, reportedly, underlined the same during her recent meeting with the President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) Md. Jashim Uddin.
During the meeting, Samantha Cohen and Md. Jashim Uddin, reportedly, discussed various aspects of mutually beneficial cooperation as well as how the Commonwealth platform can be utilised to retain Bangladesh’s economic pace in the post-LDC period even as the CWEIC CEO, reportedly, said CWEIC will organise visit of a high-level business delegation to Bangladesh later this year while also requesting the FBCCI President to arrange B2B meetings and factory visits for the delegation to show them the compliance and competitive advantages of the growing sectors of Bangladesh.
