Fashion retailer Rare and Basics (R&B), owned by the retail multinational Apparel Group, has revealed its newest retail outlet around the country in Kerala, as per a new social media announcement. The new individual store, situated in Palarivattom, Kochi, marks the brand’s sixth enterprise in the Kerala region.
“We’re thrilled to unveil the launch of R&B’s latest store in Palarivattom,” declared Apparel Group in a LinkedIn post, sharing snapshots of the recently opened store. This addition enlarges the brand’s presence to 6 stores in Kerala and a total of twenty-two around India.
R&B outlets offer a varied selection of Western clothing for men, women, and children. The original R&B store in Kochi first appeared at Centre Square Mall, Rajaji Junction, in August 2023.
In India, R&B has an existence in different cities surrounding Kozhikode, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mangalore, and Mysore. Presently, the expansive store chain runs over 135 retail outlets in 8 countries, including more than 20 lakh sq. ft. of retail space.
R&B has grand expansion plans, striving to open 200 novel stores across India and the GCC area by the ending of FY 2025, as per a former press release. Previously, the brand has commenced over 12 novel outlets in the initial quarter of FY ’25 around both India and GCC countries.
