The Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) convened its Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Dhaka, addressing significant challenges and celebrating achievements within the garment sector for the years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
During the meetings, BGBA members highlighted the key achievements. The association also emphasised its role in enhancing the quality and sustainability of garment production, which has become increasingly critical in meeting global consumer demands for ethical sourcing.
However, the meetings also served as a candid platform to discuss pressing challenges faced by the industry, and collectively chart a course for future growth and innovation.
The association reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government initiatives aimed at fostering growth within the Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector, while also addressing the socio-economic needs of communities affected by the industry.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Commerce and holding a Grade-A certification from the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI), BGBA continues to drive international trade support for its members, ensuring efficient market fulfillment and promoting sector-wide growth.
