Argentinean Government has updated the existing Declaration of Product Composition (DJCP) requirements for domestically-produced and imported textiles and apparels.
The producers and importers of textiles and apparel are now required to provide a declaration with the fibre composition of their products. DJCPs will be generated through the Integrated Foreign Trade System (SISCO) using a unique numeric or alphanumeric product identification code that will be valid for 120 days.

The product identification code must be included in all sales documents together with a description of the product. Entities in the chain of commercialization of the product must request a duly authorized copy of the DJCP from the domestic producer or importer, as applicable.
Also, the DJCPs and associated product identification codes issued in accordance with the previous requirements will be valid from 5th April. Effective 4th June, DJCPs must be accompanied by a laboratory test report supporting the fibre/constituent material content declaration of the product.
