Armedangels, a German fashion brand, has launched its 100 per cent recycled cotton detox denim collection to demonstrate its dedication to lowering the carbon emissions, water use, energy use, and land use associated with cotton farming.
”With our Spring 23 DetoxDenim collection, we are expanding our range of styles with recycled cotton and increasing the content to 100 per cent for the first time,” explained Sara Maier, design lead denim at Armedangels.
According to Armedangels, 99.62 percent of their summer collection is made from recycled or natural materials. It makes sure that its designs are in line with its dedication to ethical practises and sustainability by using PETA-certified vegan denim patches made from jacron instead of leather. The company intentionally lessens its dependency on oil and non-renewable resources by avoiding the usage of virgin plastic.
Armedangels stated that every pair of jeans in the Detox Denim collection has a QR code that enables customers to follow the product’s journey through the Aware Virtual ID, ensuring total transparency in its supply chain. Customers are given the tools to make wise decisions by using this digital product passport, which also benefits businesses who put sustainability first.
The pants, skirts, and jackets made by Armedangels are made from 80 per cent pre-consumer trash and 20 per cent post-consumer waste.
