The second-fastest-growing private firm in Britain is Castore, an English sportswear retailer started by brothers Phil and Tom Beahon and supported by tennis player Andy Murray.
According to the most recent Sunday Times 100 rankings, the company has experienced yearly sales growth of 285.80 per cent over the last three years and attained sales of £115 million in the year ending in January 2023.
The Manchester-based business also counts the wealthy Issa brothers, who run Asda, among its backers. Castore came in second place in the most recent Sunday Times 100, only behind the remote-working outsourced recruitment company, Join Talent.
The company increased its 2023 revenue projection by 30 per cent back in May and now anticipates revenues of £ 200 million, or a 100 per cent year-over-year rise.
The fact that it was able to acquire kit partnerships with prominent sports figures like Andy Murray and European football clubs like Feyenoord Rotterdam FC, Athletic Club Bilbao, the Football Association of Ireland, FC Twente, and FC Utrecht were major factors in its financial growth.
A bigger network of wholesale partners has also been established, and the company has expanded its physical retail portfolio by opening at least three new storefronts in important European cities like Amsterdam.
