Virtual fashion try-on firm Zyler has launched a new tool that enables retailers to set up AI shopping experiences on their websites. The augmented reality and artificial intelligence fashion tech solutions provider has introduced a plug-in feature that automates the integration process. By simply pasting a few lines of code into a new webpage, fashion retailers can now allow customers to virtually try on outfits using a headshot and basic measurements.
To implement this feature, retailers need to provide Zyler with an image of a model wearing the clothes they want to enable for online try-on. Zyler’s team then works with these images to prepare them for the try-on experience. Once the preparation is complete, the Zyler Go solution appears on the retailer’s website, allowing customers to see themselves wearing the clothing items while shopping.
Zyler recently partnered with retail giant Marks & Spencer (M&S) to bring virtual try-on experiences to their stores. The technology was trialed at M&S’ Oxford Circus and Harrogate branches in collaboration with clothing brand Jaeger. Shoppers were able to digitally see themselves in the Jaeger collection by uploading a head and shoulders photo along with basic measurements. Sales assistants guided customers through the process and provided style advice.
Alexander Berend, CEO of Zyler, expressed excitement about the partnership with M&S, describing it as a “wonderful opportunity to get customers excited about shopping in-store.” He highlighted that shoppers could see themselves in the entire Jaeger range, even items not in stock at the specific location, to find the best items for them. Berend also expressed delight in working with an iconic brand like Marks & Spencer to enhance the overall shopping experience.
