V-Mart, a value retail chain, reported an 18% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue to Rs 953 crore (US $9.91million) in Q2FY27,compared with Rs 807crore (US $ 8.39 million) in the corresponding quarter of FY26. The company opened 23 new stores during the quarter, taking its total operating store count to 613.
V-Mart Retail’s same-store sales growth (SSSG) stood at 3% during the quarter, with V-Mart at 2% and Unlimited at 11%.
The company said the reported SSSG was affected by a shift in the festive calendar, with Navratri beginning on October 11, 2026, compared with September 22, 2025.
After adjusting for the festive calendar shift, Q2FY27 SSSG stood at 11%, with V-Mart at 10% and Unlimited at 12%.
For the six months ended September 30, 2026, revenue from operations increased 21% YoY to Rs 2,042 crore (US $21.24million), compared with Rs 1,692crore (US $17.60 million) in the corresponding period of the previous year. YTD SSSG stood at 6%, with V-Mart at 5% and Unlimited at 12%.
During Q2FY27, the company opened 23 stores and closed one. The new stores included seven in Uttar Pradesh, three each in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, two each in Punjab and Tamil Nadu, and one each in Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan and West Bengal.
The company noted that the revenue figures are provisional and subject to review by its statutory auditors.
