Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, a fashion stylist and editor and Target have collaborated to launch the second collection of the Future Collective. Target-owned company Future Collective offers clothing and accessories while working with industry professionals to highlight the adaptability of contemporary fashion and cultural influences.
The brand made its debut in September 2022, with Kahlana Barfield Brown as its first partner. The former InStyle beauty director incorporated the significance of historically black colleges and universities into a collection that reflects her unique perspective on contemporary fashion.
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson collaborated on the Future Collective line this year, which will debut in January 2023. Every customer is catered to by making a collection of 100 pieces that include abstract prints, textures and vibrant colours. Her unique sense of style and unashamed sense of individualism has helped her establish a reputation for herself in the fashion business.
Each collection offers a unique perspective on fashion and stands out due to the designer’s individual style and range of personalities. Target claims that by working together, it is showing its support for the black community and encouraging its customers to embrace their individuality by inviting them to experiment with new looks and viewpoints.
