Primark will be offering amazing fashion at amazing prices to the shoppers of Slovenia and beyond.
These were the words of Stephen Mullen, The Retail director at Primark as the Irish fast fashion brand recently opened its maiden store at the Citypark mall in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Finally Slovenia gets its Primark store! This new store extends over an area of 4,200 square metres and features 44 cash desks and 48 fitting rooms. The response on the opening day was no less than extraordinary with thousands of people queuing the store.
The new store is being considered as a part of the brand’s strategy to expand to Central and Eastern Europe or CEE. This is not the first time Primark has planned to expand into CEE.
The fashion brand has already announced plans – and signed leases – to open its maiden outlets in the Czech Republic and Poland.
It is worth mentioning here that Primark’s designer-inspired clothes earned it the name ‘Primarni’ to CEE market. The new store has taken the total number of Primark stores to 372 in 12 nations.
