
The House of Rare has appointed Nishant Poddar as Chief Marketing Officer, reinforcing its senior leadership team as it continues to expand its fashion and lifestyle portfolio.
In his new role, Poddar will oversee brand marketing, communications, content, digital marketing, community building and consumer experience across the group’s brands, including Rare Rabbit, Rareism, RARE ONES and Rare’z.
Poddar brings more than two decades of experience across fashion, lifestyle and consumer businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Retail Experience at WROGN, where he was closely involved in shaping the brand’s marketing strategy, retail identity, digital presence and nationwide campaigns.
During his tenure at WROGN, Poddar played a significant role in strengthening the brand’s positioning across both physical and digital channels, with a focus on aligning brand storytelling with changing consumer expectations and evolving retail formats.
Earlier in his career, Poddar held leadership positions at Café Coffee Day and worked across several consumer-facing businesses. His experience spans brand building, retail marketing and digital strategy, underpinned by a deep understanding of consumer behaviour.
The House of Rare said Poddar’s approach to brand building was well aligned with the group’s emphasis on clear communication and strong consumer connection. His appointment comes at a time when the company is scaling its brand portfolio and seeking to deepen engagement across channels.
