Actor Disha Patani has entered the fashion business with the launch of her clothing brand, DZ, which focuses on oversized silhouettes, relaxed fits and space-inspired designs.
The label focuses on casual streetwear, with graphic elements and unconventional patterns across its relaxed-fit clothing. Its designs reflect the oversized styles Patani has often worn in her public and off-duty appearances.
Alongside the clothing launch, Patani has released a promotional music track for DZ. The accompanying video features the actor in oversized outfits and an experimental look, including bleached eyebrows.
DZ’s launch marks an expansion of Patani’s professional activities beyond acting into the apparel segment. The brand enters the celebrity-led fashion market with a focus on relaxed streetwear, graphic-led designs and outer-space motifs.
Several celebrity-led clothing brands are already present in India, including WROGN, founded in partnership with Virat Kohli, which offers casualwear; HRX, co-created by Hrithik Roshan, which focuses on activewear and everyday fashion; Ed-a-Mamma, founded by Alia Bhatt, which specialises in children’s clothing; Nush, launched by Anushka Sharma, which offers women’s everyday wear; and House of Pataudi, featuring Saif Ali Khan, which combines traditional Indian styles with contemporary designs. Salman Khan’s Being Human also offers casual clothing.
