As comfort wear continues to become an integral part of our daily lives, here’s another lifestyle brand that ventures into loungewear.
In a statement released to media, American lifestyle retailer Fabletics has announced that it will launch its maiden offerings in new loungewear collections, called Lounge.
To be unveiled on 1 September (Wednesday), the new 17-piece collection will include sets, coordinates, robes and separates – all designed beautifully by the brand.
The retailer also said that the clothes in the new collection have been made of different fabrics that include the likes of cotton flex and structured fleece, amongst others.
Loungewear and athleisure wear have been in demand for several years; however, over the last 18 months, the demand for the same has accelerated at a rapid pace – thanks to the pandemic menace.
And now with the delta variant of COVID-19 yet again making the reopening of offices and schools difficult in many parts of the globe, Fabletics’ move couldn’t have come at a better time.
2021 has already seen many retailers venturing into comfort wear. First it was Athleta in January and then menswear brand Haws and Curtis, which forayed into loungewear. They were followed by ThirdLove expanding into loungewear in February. In May 2021, Primark also launched sustainable and affordable loungewear collection.
