Primark, the Irish fast fashion retailer, has launched new sustainable loungewear collection – and it is affordable too.
The launch is being seen as Primark’s continuous efforts to source more recycled materials. The 8-piece collection, which has been certified by circular fashion business Recover, is partially made from recycled cotton.
Recover has been pioneering sustainable materials for over 70 years now.
Made under Primark Cares label, each product of the collection is made from 15 to 25 per cent recycled cotton. The remaining percentage constitutes a blend of different materials that also include sustainable cotton from Primark’s Sustainable Cotton Programme.
So what does the collection consist of! Including a wide range of T-shirts, joggers, hoodies, sweats and leggings in white, black, grey and navy, these are not that expensive too. The price ranges between £3.50 and £12.
The retailer, reportedly, said that it is closely working with innovative partners like Recover, which is a part of Primark Cares initiative with the intent to make sustainable fashion affordable for all.
Back in 2020, Primark had launched Wellness collection which includes 80 eco-conscious products.
The fashion retailer from Ireland offers a wide range of products that include baby and kidswear, womenswear, menswear, fashion accessories and footwear, amongst others.
