The facility currently employs over 200 workers, comprising around 50 direct employees and more than 160 indirect workers. Mallcom plans to increase total employment at the site to more than 300 by next year.

The plant will operate alongside the company’s two existing factories in Haryana and is intended to support increasing demand from both the domestic market and export-oriented manufacturing sectors.

The company, which has a capacity of 37,856 spindles, including 33,224 spindles dedicated to producing fancy yarns, posted a PAT of Rs. 3.13 crore (US $0.34 million) for the quarter ended 31st March 2026.

Rising prices have not only increased fabric costs but have also made grey fabric more expensive for buyers, leaving many units struggling to maintain operations.

During the visit, the Minister assessed issues including waterlogging, drainage bottlenecks, poor road conditions, encroachments and operational concerns raised by industrial units.

In his new role Anirudh will translate consumer behaviour, cultural shifts, and performance needs into products designed for everyday movement. His role will span materials, fits, silhouettes, graphics, functional details, and seasonal collections, while strengthening the processes that connect insight, design, development, and commercial execution.
