PFAFF INDUSTRIAL and KSL have announced participation in multiple exhibitions in May.
Starting today (9th May), the companies are geared up to exhibit at INTERZUM trade fair in Cologne, along with Dürkopp Adler. Their exhibit will showcase their solutions for upholstery, mattresses, and home textiles.
Additionally, both companies, in collaboration with DAP America, Inc., and Dürkopp Adler, will also be exhibiting their sewing and welding solutions for the textile and leather processing industry at TEXPROCESS AMERICAS in Atlanta from 10th to 12th May.
One of the machines they will be featuring in INTERZUM trade fair is the POWERLINE 2545, a high-speed seamer equipped with unison feed and vertical hook for topstitching work in visible areas and assembly seams in non-visible areas.
The machine has a length of 5 mm, so there’s no need for manual trimming of the remaining threads. KSL will also be presenting the KL 352, a CNC sewing unit designed for safety, functional, and decorative seams. The machine has many new technical refinements such as individual setting of thread tension and foot height for each seam section.
This increases process reliability and performance in the multi-directional sewing process. The KL 352 has a sewing area of up to 1,000 x 1,000 mm, and KSL offers solutions with a sewing area of up to 6,000 x 8,000 mm as a technology leader for CNC large-area sewing units.
In TEXPROCESS AMERICAS, one of the highlights of the exhibit will be the American premiere of PFAFF 3688, a new CNC pocket setter. The machine features new technical refinements such as electronically controlled thread tension, carriage feed with servo drives, and adjustable vacuum strength, all of which increase quality and performance.
The PFAFF 8333, a taping machine that provides a continuous seam sealing solution, will also be on display for the first time in the USA. The machine has a new 3-D axis nozzle position that allows for unique process control. With this machine, all relevant determining factors can be pre-set to certain welding programs, enabling easy changeover from one application to another with just the press of a button.
KSL will also be exhibiting the KL 627, a chainstitch post-bed machine with a small post for easy handling of voluminous fabrics, and the KL 351, a CNC sewing unit with a 360° rotating sewing head and a template that can be moved in X and Y direction for perfect seams in multi-directional sewing. The sewing area for the KL 351 is up to 1,000 x 1,000 mm.
