Gerber Technology releases new software, Version 12 of the AccuMark Platform, which helps brands and retailers deliver new styles and trends faster than ever before. The cutting-edge platform addresses both on-demand or digtal printing workflows as well as fully optimised mass prodution operations.
Mary McFadden, Vice President, CAD Product Management, Gerber Technology said, “To survive and more importantly thrive in today’s markets, fashion players need to improve their agility, speed and connectivity.
Our Version 12 AccuMark Platform release delivers on these demands from product design and development to 3D sampling through optimised production planning and manufacturing.”
The Version 12 software advancement includes AccuMark 2D CAD, AccuMark 3D as well as AccuPlan. The upgraded AccuMark 2D CAD software has vast number of new features that are focused on simplification and giving users more control of the workflows with more options of personalisation and modern controls.
Some key enhancements include multi-dimensional grading, pattern wizard updates that simplify and shorten the processes, expanded digital workflow capabilities, personalised reporting operations and visual customisation tools.
Whereas the AccuMark 3D is a fully integrated 2D to 3D solution that is built on the integration of industry leading Avametric Fabric Simulation Engine. The software supports optical and surface texture effects from Vizoo and X-Rite scanners in order to provide higher level of realism. It also has a new live drag feature that allows a user to tug on a garment to help assess and control fit.
Besides, Avatars with additional poses have been added to help with speed and personalisation. AccuMark now offers a hi-resolution photorealistic prototyping service improving speed and cutting weeks off a development cycle.
On the other hand, Version 12 of AccuPlan includes the addition of multiple fabric property features to capture selvage, shrink/stretch percentage values and major enhancements to planning and reporting features. The updates to this application continue to improve speed, efficiency and the optimisation of material utilisation.
