DHL, a division of German logistics company, has launched DHL Resilience360, a mobile app that helps in the supply chain risk management. This technology is an extension of DHL’s Resilience360 platform.
This application helps in the near real-time monitoring of the shipment milestones across the transport mode, as well as external incidences that may disrupt a business supply chain. It provides business with anytime and anywhere access to the supply chain information, helping them in managing the situation at the real-time, using the best of advanced technologies.
“Supply chains have become incredibly complex; however, thanks to revolutionary technologies like big data, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms, we are in a position to identify and manage risk like never before. The app puts all of that predictive power at your fingertips,” said Tobias Larsson, Head of Resilience360, DHL Customer Solutions & Innovations.
There are numerous challenges faced by the global supply chain, such as natural disaster, cyber-attacks, and a rapidly changing regulatory environment. The system allows to take better ownership of these exceptions, responding to them before or at the time it happened. Rather than when a problem has occurred and has entered the pipeline.
The Resilance360 mobile app is available in both- the Google Play Store and the App Store.
DHL provides a wide range of supply chain solutions to Automotive, Aerospace, Chemical, Fashion, and other industries.
