Staubli, Switzerland-based textile machinery producer, will showcase its innovations in weaving and knitting technology at ITMA Asia+CITME 2018 which will be held from 15-19 October, 2018.
The company will set two booths namely, Weavers and Knitters, at the event. Weaving booth will show the advancement in its existing SAFIR S30, an automatic drawing-in machine.
A new 16 frame/rod capacity has been introduced in the machine to allow production of high-density warps with fine filament yarn. The SAFIR product range is also equipped with AWC (active warp control) technologies which includes double-end detection, colour repeat, and S/Z-yarn management.
The company will also reveal their new automatic BEAMPRO yarn repeat reading-in machine, an automatic tool which can be integrated with sizing machine for sizing coloured warp sheets.
Also, on exhibit will be LX and LXL, electronic Jacquard machines for terry and large format clothing fabric production. LX setup have 6,652 harness cords with two repeat, suitable for production of terry fabric. While LXL have 19,584 harness cords, which makes the heavy payload of fabrics possible while weaving dense clothing fabric.
Another area of attraction at the event will be Staubli S2658 and S2678 series for high-position rotary dobbies for water-jet applications. These machines are used to produce quality patterned fabrics and can be installed in the high position on the weaving machine.
On the other hand, knitting booth will feature its latest D4S automatic toe-linking device for sock knitting machine. Machine is available with a diameter of 3½” to 4½” and from 8 to 19 gauge. Once installed on a knitting machine, adjusting to different gauge ranges is fast and easy.
