Bluestar Alliance, the parent company of the fashion retailer Tahari, is partnering with The Levy Group Inc, to launch a swimwear collection by Tahari for SS19 which will encompass both plus and regular sizes.
The collection comprises of bikinis, monokinis, swimwear top and bottom separates, cover-ups and many light sarongs. The silhouettes are summer friendly and promise the ease that any wearer should feel on a vacation. Florals, ruffles, lace appliques, stripes and ombre patterns are the designs and prints that are done on patterns in the modern Missy fit. It also provides good functionality when it comes to fit with the use of subtle under-wires and slight shimmers to flatter the body of the wearer.
During their press release, The Levy Group’s president of men’s, swim and new business development, Michael Fernandez, stated that, “We are excited to partner with the Tahari brand and Bluestar Alliance. Swim is a perfect extension to exhibit the brands elegance and modern sophistication.”
Joey Gabbay, representing Bluestar Alliance shared the enthusiasm as he talked about the collection as being “well aligned with the Tahari marketing position”. He added, “Swimwear is rounding out our overall strategy completing a full Tahari wardrobe and we believe the new designs will appeal to the Tahari consumer who have admired the brand for many years.”
Bluestar Alliance is the parent company under whose umbrella reside Bebe, Kensie, Catherine Malandrino, Nanette Lepore, English Laundry and Limited Too.
Tahari is the luxury brand created by the designer Elie Tahari which deals with high fashion women clothing, shoes, sunglasses and accessories, and menswear apparel. It came under Bluestar Alliance recently and the brand operates via 600 stores in over 40 countries in five continents.
Their swim line can be bought globally through several departmental and specialty stores with a prices ranging from $120 to $150 for one-pieces, $80 to $130 for cover-ups and $70 to $100 for swim separates.
