Japan-based computerised flat knitting technology producer Shima Seiki and its Italian subsidiary Shima Seiki Italia S.p.A are all set to present latest innovations at the upcoming exhibition ISPO Munich (Germany), indispensably the leading trade fair for the sports sector, to be held from January 28-31, 2018.
Around 3,000 exhibitors from across the globe are expected to present the latest developments from the outdoor, winter sports and fitness sectors during the event, organised by Messe München.
At the 4-day extravaganza, Shima Seiki will showcase its latest sportswear samples using water-repellent yarns produced on its latest line of computerised knitting machines at Booth #BN4 in BRANDNEW Village. The company will also present its MACH2XS Wholegarment knitting machine at the event.
The machine can knit high-quality 3D products. The company claims that products produced on the knitting machine are ‘sustainable’ that consumes the minimum volume of resources required.
SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system will also be displayed at the fair. The specialised software makes it ideal for fashion design needs. The system enhances the design with its ultra-realistic imitation ability, while virtual samples lessen the requirement for actual sampling.
Further, Shima Seiki will be the Corporate Sponsor to the ISPO BRANDNEW Village, a special platform for promising newcomers.
