
Grafica recently inaugurated its Nano-prinTex Demo Centre at Casual Screen Prints in Tirupur. The opening ceremony was witnessed by a large number of invitees from the garment industry, with Sri S. Nagarajan, President – Dyers Association Tirupur and Sri T.R. Shrikant, President, TEKPA as Guests of Honour. Grafica has recently appointed Casual Screen Prints as its representative to market Nano-prinTex and allied products in Tirupur market. The ceremony also marked the commencement of Casual Screen Prints automatic printing unit.
While making a brief presentation on Grafica and Nano-prinTex, Bhargav Mistry, Grafica’s MD said, “The world’s first all electrical-mechanical textile printing machine without any compressor, is now available in 2,3, 4, 6, 8,10,12 colours with relevant palette configuration along with an intelligent flash curing system called Grafica’s Nano-flashTex and compact electric dryer – Grafica’s Nano-Texdryer.” Explaining the function of the standalone flash curing unit, Bhargav informed that it has a microprocessor temperature controller and also an optical feedback sensor to automatically turn off the heaters once the desired temperature set point has been reached. “The Nano-flashTex is designed to prevent any likelihood of scorching and waste as well as providing greater consistency to curing light inks on dark or dark inks on light,” he added.

Bhargav also announced that Grafica will soon launch an interactive textile design portal – a value addition facility – wherein garment printers can become a paid member and download exclusive designs to cater to the domestic market since they already get designs from the overseas buyers as far as export market is concerned. Bhargav also shared that the first Nano-prinTex has already been exported to UAE and that Grafica will be the first Indian textile printing machine manufacturer to showcase ‘Made in India’ product at SGIA’12 in Las Vegas, USA. He also said that Nano-prinTex will be marketed in Europe through Grafica’s distributor Terascreen, founded by none other than international screen printing expert, Michel Caza.
