The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) office in Ashulia has held an important meeting with the goal of creating a fair voter list in advance of the BGMEA elections. All ten members of the support team attended the meeting, which was chaired by Md. Anwar Hossain, the vice chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and BGMEA administrator.
Anwar highlighted during the meeting that the committee’s main objective is to compile an equitable voter list in order to expedite the holding of the BGMEA elections on schedule. To guarantee a seamless and open process, he urged full collaboration from all parties involved.
The group discussed the methods for creating the voter list in great detail and agreed to work together to complete the tasks at hand. It was also reiterated that the association’s regular activities, such as arbitration, UD, UP, NBR, banking, customs, and labor-related activities, would continue as usual.
