At the ongoing Denimsandjeans.com show, Sabina Chandrakant Ingale, Sourcing Head, Bershka (Inditex) told Apparel Resources, “Jeans as a product category is very important for us. We are buying from Bangladesh, Turkey and Pakistan also. In fact, 80 per cent of our denim is coming from Bangladesh. In last 3-4 years Bangladeshi denim industry has improved a lot.”
The company is now planning to increase 25 per cent of its sourcing from Bangladesh in next two years.
