Leading Bangladeshi companies in the leather, footwear, and leather goods sectors, including A.S Leather, Loretta Leather, Al Madina, Gardenia Footwear, and Nobabee Footwear, are showcasing their products at the 19th Cairo International Leather and Shoes Fair 2025. This premier international exhibition, which began on 23rd January and runs until 25th January at the Cairo International Convention Center, features Bangladesh prominently at Pavilion A52.
The participation is part of the “Meet Bangladesh Sourcing Show” (MBS), an initiative introduced by the Export Competitiveness for Jobs (EC4J) Project under the Ministry of Commerce. The MBS aims to highlight Bangladesh’s notable leather, footwear (both leather and non-leather), and leather goods sectors to a global audience.
The EC4J project’s primary goal is to enhance export market connections for the leather and footwear industries, positioning Bangladesh as a reliable sourcing destination. With a competitive workforce, duty-free access to developed markets, and a well-established supply chain, Bangladesh is emerging as a lucrative hub for global buyers seeking high-quality leather products.
