
The Man-Made and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council (MATEXIL), has named Anil Rajbanshi as its new vice-chairman. Currently, he is in the position of President of Reliance Industries, which is a position he has held since 2004.
He had previously been a member of the Birla Group. According to MATEXIL, his deep engagement in the Indian man-made fibre textile business and his affiliation with the CII and FICCI National Committees on Textiles demonstrate his dedication to the field. He belonged to the Textiles Committee as well.
According to Rajbanshi, textiles made of man-made fibres are the way of the future, and he is eager to see this industry flourish.
According to MATEXIL Chairman Shaleen Toshniwal, Rajbanshi’s extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the Man-Made Fibre Textiles industry would improve the Council’s operations and objectives.
