Indian business delegation keen to visit Bangladesh to gauge business, investment opportunities, reports claim

The Kolkata-based Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has expressed its interest to visit Bangladesh to take stock of investment and business opportunities available in the two economies of South Asia.

This is as per media reports, which added the BCCI led by its president Subir Chakraborty desires to visit Bangladesh on 17-21 February, 2023 — the objective of the delegation would be to understand the business and investment opportunities available in the two economies of South Asia and to explore avenues for collaboration —even if the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Kolkata, requested the Commerce Ministry of his country to take steps regarding the same.

Meanwhile, a Commerce Ministry official has added they were working on it.
