CTA, established in the year 1993, is a professionally managed company with a current annual turnover of US $ 25 million having 3 vertically-integrated garment manufacturing units with a production capacity of 6,00,000 pieces per month and a total of 2,500 high tech machines. “Apart from organizational growth, we also aim to provide employment to bigger masses year by year, as we consider it our social and national responsibility,” says Dr. Mukesh Kansal, MD, CTA Apparels.
Manufacturing a product range that includes woven/knitted ladies, men’s, kids garments and accessories, the ISO 9001:2008 and BSCI certified company is working with some of the best brands across the globe. As a socially and environmentally conscious enterprise, Noida-based CTA has been the recipient of many prestigious awards including “Niryaat Shree” – Gold trophy presented by the President of India, “Excellence in Exports Performance” award by AEPC & FIEO, and the very recent “Leaders of Tomorrow” award.
Riding high on accolades, CTA plans to expand in the coming years not just in terms of garment manufacturing capacity, but also setting-up of in-house processing unit for dyeing and printing fabrics/garments. “We foresee it as a major step in reducing lead-time which is the demand and need of the market today,” says Dr. Kansal. This is even more important as the company is driven by product development. “Our design team scrupulously works round the year on a monthly collection, taking inspiration from major fashions shows all over the world. We look forward to explore newer markets by adding product range and by our innovative design ideas,” adds Dr. Kansal.
Not satisfied resting on past glories, CTA is steadily investing in modernized machinery and equipments and training of the work-force to create a larger pool of talented and specialized labour. “In times like these when we are competing with countries like China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, etc., we are focusing on intelligent sourcing. We are definitely better than these countries in quality and design-based products, but we also strive to leave them far behind when it comes to garment selling cost,” reasons Dr. Kansal.
