Canada Goose, an internationally recognized brand for its high quality apparel and extreme weather outerwear has officially unveiled its new factory in Toronto with a global headquarter. The factory encompasses an area of 96,000 square feet which doubles the brand’s previous production capacity from the old site nearby. Barring this, the company also has recently expanded its Winnipeg factory which together account for creation of 200 new manufacturing jobs and an appreciable amount of management and administrative positions. “Even when the other companies moved their production overseas to chase better margins, we’ve been striving to make the ‘Made in Canada’ brand global,” says Dani Reiss, President & CEO, Canada Goose. To help meet the growing global demand for its iconic Made-in-Canada outdoor luxury apparel, the company expects to expand its new Toronto headquarters by another 20,000 square feet by May, 2015.
