BGMEA President Faruque Hassan, accompanied by Chair of BGMEA Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Shams Mahmud, Vice President Shahidullah Azim and Director Barrister Vidiya Amrit Khan, recently called on the Ambassador of Indonesia to Bangladesh Heru Hartanto Subolo.
During the courtesy call, the BGMEA chair, reportedly, discussed with Indonesian envoy possible avenues of collaboration between Indonesia and Bangladesh so as to unlock mutual trade potentials even as they, reportedly, underlined how both the nations can complement each other for the development of the RMG and textile sector.
Talking to Heru Hartanto Subolo, Faruque, reportedly, maintained Bangladesh and Indonesia need to view each other as comprehensive friends and partners and expand collaboration to prosper together while also underlining a collaborative engagement was needed to identify the opportunities and ways to realise them.
