The Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) is organizing a four-day workshop on ‘Lean Manufacturing Practices and Implementation’ with experts from Sri Lanka Institute of Textiles and Apparel (SLITA) at ATDC-Juki Innovation Centre in Gurgaon. The training will focus on topics like goals of the lean enterprise, financial aspects, value engineering, process mapping, standard operations, visual management, 5 S and its implementation, value steam mapping (VSM), lead time – video on cellular concept , behavioural metrics and various case studies. The workshop will have a total of 30-35 participants, including 12-15 industry participants and 20 ATDC trainers from ATDC’s pan-India centres.
