Mellowdrama launches its latest ready-to-wear collection, ‘AlterEgo,’ using repurposed fabric waste. Major highlights are the themes of individuality and self-expression to promote sustainable practices.
In a press release, the brand described the collection as “a call to embrace your true self,” which can be wearable for daily purposes to show statement moments blending mellow comfort with dramatic style of unique and bold.
Featuring textiles such as twills and cotton, creating soft silhouettes paired with tactile separates and structured garments. Key highlights include zipper-trimmed ruffled black sets, metallic trench coats, and fringed distressed denim.
The collection is available on Mellowdrama’s direct-to-customer e-commerce store and its new exclusive brand outlet at The Dhan Mill, New Delhi. Aaina Mahajan, a graduate of the London College of Fashion, takes on the brand’s commitment towards responsible fashion with its innovative approach to repurpose fabric waste through ‘AlterEgo.’
