Cos, H&M-owned brand based in London, has rolled-out a new platform for second-hand apparels.
The initiative is a step towards becoming fully circular and renewable brand.
The brand specialises in offering reinvented classic and wardrobe essential for women, men and children.
The platform named ‘Resell’ will allow the users to buy and sell Cos clothing, offering them the opportunity to ‘re-invent their wardrobe in a considerable and sustainable way’.
The platform will be launched this month in the UK and Germany and later will be expanded globally in autumn.
H&M continues its efforts towards circular strategies and has launched several initiatives in rental, repair and re-commerce in recent years.
The retailer in 2019 became one of the major owners of Swedish re-commerce platform Sellpy after bringing its overall stake to approximately 70 per cent.
Many other brands including German e-tail giant Zalando, US fashion labels Macy’s and JCPenney too have entered into the resale market in recent years.
