Carter’s, Inc., the largest baby and children’s apparel brand in North America, has released the 2024 Raise the Future Impact Report detailing progress against its commitments to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
Product: 99% of Carter’s products now meet OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 safety standards. The KIDCYCLE clothing takeback program will be relaunched in 2025 to further incentivize recycling.
Planet: Now over 60% of packaging is from recycled content. Carter’s was also recognised as an EPA Green Power Partner for their activities with renewable energy.
People: Since 2021, nearly US $ 35 million has been committed through corporate philanthropy. Together with Planet Water Foundation, we funded clean water projects in India and Vietnam, reaching over 5,000 individuals.
Carter’s is continuing its efforts to support young families while reducing its environmental impact with the Raise the Future platform. “Our work is founded on transparency and impact, and we’re excited to share this report as our commitment to future generations.” said Antonio Robinson, SVP & Chief Compliance Officer.
Carter’s also received major praise in 2024, including awards from TIME, Newsweek, and USA Today for sustainable leadership.
“This report is a call to action,” said Anu Piduru, Senior Director, Sustainability. “We are proud of the work we have accomplished and we continue to do our part in creating a better tomorrow for families all over the world.”
The report is aligned to SASB, TCFD and GRI standards, and emphasizes transparency around Carter’s ESG performance.
