Dry Indigo Traveler Denim!
That’s the new eco-friendly men’s denim collection from the US fashion brand Banana Republic.
And what makes it sustainable? It’s waterless. Yes, it’s 99 per cent less water than traditional dyeing methods used towards denim.
The Dry Indigo Traveler Denim utilises an innovative foam-dyeing process, which minimises the usage of water up to 99 per cent.
Additionally, it also uses 89 per cent fewer chemicals. Notably, the process brings down the energy waste also by 65 per cent. The new collection is currently available online as well as in Banana Republic outlets.
The brand is one of the firsts to collaborate with the Spanish denim mill Tejidos Royo in using this innovative technology.
100 per cent Global Recycled Standard certified recycled poly zipper tape is another sustainable highlight of this new collection.
