The sustainable baby and mother care company SuperBottoms has teamed up with Shipway Technology Private Limited (also known as “Shipway”), which is owned by Unicommerce, to optimise and expedite its transportation processes.
SuperBottoms was founded in 2018 by Pallavi Utagi with the goal of encouraging parents to switch from disposable nappies to sustainable, safe cloth nappies. SuperBottoms implemented the logistics management platform Shipway to manage deliveries in metro areas and tier 1 cities, where the majority of its customers reside, in light of their strong reliance on prompt and dependable nappy delivery.
SuperBottoms’ logistics performance has improved as a result of its integration with Shipway. One of them is selecting courier partners using an algorithm to achieve a 95% delivery success rate. In order to choose the best courier partner for every shipment, the Shipway technology platform uses algorithms that take into account factors including location, product kind, packet size, and delivery window.
Any delays in the process are eliminated by digital order segregation and prompt order acceptance and processing. Through its single shipping allocation platform, Shipway’s technology offers end-to-end visibility and control over order fulfilment.
Customers rely heavily on the promise of timely, error-free deliveries, according to Pallavi Utagi, co-founder of SuperBottoms. With fewer RTOs and increased delivery success rates, this collaboration with Shipway has revolutionised logistics operations. Increased visibility and control brought about by the unified platform have improved customer satisfaction and resulted in significant cost savings.
Cost reductions and operational efficiencies are generated by technology-driven capabilities. Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Chief Business Officer at Shipway, is thrilled to deliver high-impact outcomes for SuperBottom as they expand their business and establish high customer service standards.
Additionally, SuperBottoms leverages Unicommerce’s Uniware platform to handle orders from its website and fulfil purchases from baby-focused businesses like FirstCry, quick-commerce channels like Zepto, and marketplaces like Meesho. Uniware makes operations more effective by offering a single dashboard for orders across several channels. Automated order processing and fulfilment expedites shipping and minimises human error, while real-time inventory synchronisation across platforms lowers the risk of overselling and stock-outs.
