Commitment has always been the keyword for Prosperity Textiles – commitment to excellence in quality, delivery and price. While the China-based enterprise is already a big name worldwide as a leading denim manufacturer, it is now all set to spread its wings in Vietnam, too. “The future of denim is bright in Vietnam. By the first half of 2018, our company can provide high quality ‘Made in Vietnam’ denim fabrics to garment vendors and local buying offices,” said an exuberant Andy, Marketing Director, Prosperity Textile.
The company is excited about its new denim mill that is coming up in Vietnam, 300 km away from Hanoi. Adding to this, Andy averred. “We are excited about our new denim mill. Our shipment to Vietnam has increased. More and more clients are here and the entire idea is to capture more and more business.” In fact, the surge in shipment has been quite significant. Andy expects a 30 per cent increase each year for next few years, and feels that things can only improve if the free trade agreements (FTAs) come through between Vietnam and EU.
The company that was set up in 1995 offers wide array of services like R&D, design and manufacturing to all their clients across the world. The company has also been persistently putting efforts to advocate low-carbon development strategy in addition to integrating green manufacturing concepts through every stage of company’s operation – from eco-materials, recycling water, gas and chemical, to installing sewage treatment system and eco-washing technology.
The efforts to promote and advocate sustainability and innovation enabled the company to bag the prestigious honour for innovative fabrics. “Prosperity Textile is also one among the handful of denim mills that are bluesign® system partners,” said Andy. The company was recognized for ‘Top Products and Selections’ at the recently held ISPO Textrends 2017 Fall/Winter, Germany. “We are proud that our denim fabrics have been selected as the top products and selections at ISPO Textrends again, for our commitment to innovation and sustainability. Over the years, we have been developing denim with upgraded performances, interesting surfaces, soft touch and eco-friendly ingredients, to meet the growing demand of sportswear and outdoor apparel customers. We will continue our efforts to relentlessly drive the innovation of denim,” said Xiang Gu, General Manager, Prosperity Textile.
Some of their recently launched products have yet again garnered attention worldwide. In addition to the aforementioned ISPO fabrics, Air-Lite – a hollow fibre that guarantees to obtain 10% lighter denims – has also received acclaim for using special cotton yarn on the inside of the fabric that gives it a super lightweight hand feel. Similarly, CARMINE BLUE, the new indigo shade, has been the talking point in the industry much before its launch mainly because it offers an environment-friendly denim line of hydrosulfite-free dyeing. The company is excited with the way the new products are leaving a mark among brands. “In line with the 20 per cent growth target in 2017, we are excited with the huge positive response for our new products from brands in US and EU.
Over the last two decades, the company was also awarded certifications from international authorities, like ISO 9001, Oeko-Tex® 100, Whitelist Qualification, etc., and reached strategic partnerships with world’s-leading enterprises and institutions. These are good enough to substantiate the company’s commitment to achieving excellence in anything and everything it is associated with.
