Cambodian garment manufacturing company Fushun Cambo Fashion Co. Ltd. is set to make an investment of around US $ 2.5 million to establish a factory.
The new garment facility will be set up in the District of Bati located in the Province of Takeo. It is expected that once the unit is operational, it will generate more than 1,000 job opportunities.
Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), a Government body that approves all the projects that require huge investments, has also given green signal to the project.
The CDC had been talking about the decision on their Facebook page over the last one month.
According to the Government officials, this will help in making things more transparent for the public as well as for the investors, especially in following the economic growth and development of the nation.
The CDC had approved four projects in the month of October 2017, which were mostly in regard to garment and footwear industry. The combined investment value reached US $ 10 million.
