
Tata Group’s Trent Limited has introduced its value fashion brand, Zudio, to Dubai, marking the brand’s first international foray with a new store in Dubai Silicon Central Mall. This brick-and-mortar pilot aims to cater to the region’s growing demand for fashion, particularly among the Indian diaspora.
“Absolutely delighted to welcome Zudio to Dubai and join Mr. Noel Tata, managing director of Tata International, in inaugurating the first international store at Dubai Silicon Central Mall,” shared Lulu Group International’s executive director Ashraf Ali MA on Facebook. “Here’s to a new chapter in fashion retailing.”
This launch marks Zudio’s debut both in Dubai and outside of India. The new store features trendy apparel and accessories for both men and women.
“It’s a baby step, and we are piloting with one store,” a senior executive at Trent told ET Bureau. “Depending on the response, we may expand to more locations in new geographies.”
Zudio stores typically range in size from 7,000 to 10,000 square feet. As of June this year, Trent Limited operates 559 Zudio stores, alongside 228 Westside fashion stores, and 36 stores under other lifestyle retail brands. Zudio was launched over seven years ago to offer value apparel to young Indians.
