In an attempt to compete domestically with fast-fashion Chinese e-commerce shops SHEIN and Temu, South African online fashion store Zando has established an international e-commerce section named Zando Global.
The strong demand for SHEIN and Temu’s inexpensive clothing is propelling their quick ascent, placing pressure on nearby physical and virtual fashion businesses to find ways to match their low costs.
“With the rise of SHEIN and Temu, South African consumers have often found themselves hesitant to order internationally due to concerns about product quality, delivery reliability, and returns processes,” Zando said in a statement.
Zando claimed that in order to differentiate itself, its new location will make sure that South African customers can conveniently receive, pick up, and return merchandise, providing hassle-free shopping with local operations.
Additionally, it guarantees thorough inspections of each product prior to shipping to clients. For customers purchasing a broad variety of 200,000 products ranging from fashion, homeware, gadgets, wigs, and more, Zando Global will also use neighbourhood actual collection points, according to the store.
